I drew most of these while watching The Wire, which is a supremely awesome series. The series has nothing to do with the drawings themselves, I just thought you'd appreciate the trivia.

For the past few days, I have been watching Xena and drawing with Sharpies. Because Sharpies are what the pros use. :)

I know I owe you guys a story post of my representative doodles, but those aren't as pretty as these.

These are done with V5 Pilot pens in nifty colors. It's much harder to process color doodles, which why I don't like to do it often, but these were pretty enough to go to the trouble.

I doodle a lot. Mostly small things, a couple of inches square. These were done with pen--either a Pilot V5 or Uni-ball Vision in my red notebook (I specify the source because I have literally hundreds of these dealies and I need to split them up somehow....) These are still from that big mega doodling sessions. After lots of layered spaghetti monsters and doodles of people and other recognizable things, I did random symbols and doodles on squarish background ink splotches. More doodles for you. This collection is labeled as "layers"-- I would do a dilute layer, let it dry, then do a darker layer on top, let it dry, do another one, and so on. These are all the abstract ones; tomorrow I'll post the doodles that ended up looking like stuff.
